' One British married womanʼ's family, who were clearly more than self-sufficient were in threat ofbeing torn apart by the new 2012 Spouse Visa Rules. The new rules would force her to give birth and care for their newborn alone, indefinitely. After a 5-month wall of silence from Ministers, indesperation she contacted her local paper, which ran a newspaper article of their situation.
