Immigration rules in force from July 2012 have effectively closed the route for British citizens and residents to sponsor their non-EEA adult dependant relatives to live with them in the UK. Studies show grandparents play a key role in children's lives, contributing to their development.
Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants in conjunction with BritCits are researching how these rules are affecting families, especially those with young children. JCWI aims to challenge these rules in court.
Attend our briefing meeting for more information. Email us to confirm your attendance or register your interest in future meetings at adr@jcwi.org.uk
