https://twitter.com/APPGMigration tweets - Overwhelming response to our family migration campaign. Thank you all so much for submitting into the inquiry. The fight continues! Worth sharing all by itself. :)

More on this most important initiative : http://www.migrantsrights.org.uk/about/all-party-parliamentary-group-migration and http://www.appgmigration.org.uk/family-inquiry . As alluded to in our introduction , the rules were introduced by the 'back door' - first secondary legislation, and then (when the courts ruled against this - the 'Alvi' decision), emergency legislation was pushed through the House of Lords (as the Commons was in recess) without a proper debate. The inquiry goes some way towards rectifying this undemocratic, and un-British situation.

And it has given those affected a voice, in Parliament, which was lacking. Thanks are due to MRN and Kate Green MP.

The Coram Children's Legal Centre tweets : Our submission to 's inquiry on family migration: - raises concerns re: impact of new rules on children.
